What is a Trainee Driving License?
Changes were made to the Highway Traffic Regulation on April 17, 2015, and these changes continue to be implemented as of 2017. The most curious issue in this regulation is the candidate driver (trainee driver's license) application. We have compiled for you the changes that concern new driver candidates.
What is a trainee license?
In the trainee driving license application, if the driver reaches 75 penalty points for 2 years, his license will be confiscated and he will have to take a psychotechnical test to determine his psychological state. After receiving the psycho-technical certificate, he will need to apply for a driving school and get a driver's license again.
How to fill 75 penalty points?
Penalty points for common mistakes:
Talking on the phone while driving in traffic: 10 penalty points
Running a red light: 20 Penalty points
Not fastening the seat belt: 15 penalty points
Exceeding the speed limit: 10 penalty points
Driving a vehicle without inspection: 10 Penalty points
Failure to comply with the parking ban: 20 Penalty points
Not allowing pedestrians in places where pedestrians have right of way: 20 penalty points
Failure to comply with lane keeping rules: 20 Penalty points
Mistakes made repeatedly according to the regulation:
For two years ;
Violating traffic lights three times,
Three violations of speed limits,
Violating the right of way for pedestrians and cyclists at roundabouts, left and right, 3 times,
Violating student passages at school crossings,
Not fastening the seat belt 3 times,
Being caught with 0.20 promil alcohol regardless of the vehicle type,
In cases of primary fault in traffic accidents resulting in death, the driver's license is revoked.
Note: The strictest clause in the regulation is on alcohol. The regulation clearly requires driver candidates not to drive under the influence of alcohol above 0.20 promil.
What will the trainee license be like?
People have a perception that candidate driver's licenses will be different. No, there is no such situation. In fact, there is no statement on the driver's license indicating that you are a candidate driver. Systematically, the information that you are a candidate driver is included in the police records.
At the end of two years, if you have no faults, your candidate driver status will be automatically terminated. You do not need to renew your card. You do not need to apply or pay any fees. Getting a Driving License is Now Easier with Driving School..
